Welcome to UJS registration for the 2020-2021 school year!

In order to register for the 2020-2021 school year, please fill out both the registration form and visit our payment system at the links provided below. Three items are required for registration:

  1. Registration form
  2. Payment
  3. Vaccination records

Registration: This year, we are asking ALL families to fill out this information, as part of our ongoing efforts to update our registration system. We are working toward a system where only new families or families with information updates will need to fill out a form. Please fill this out for enrollment in all grades from Gan Katan through Madrichim. We request that you fill this out as early as possible to help us plan for the start of the school year. This form must be submitted prior to the start of school. The form is available for download as a fillable PDF or for printing and filling out by hand (see below for links to form and detailed instructions). Completed forms can be emailed to the School Director, Hasia Monselise at ujshasiamonselise@gmail.com.

Payment: We are using a new online payment system through JFGR. Please choose "Get Tickets" to pay your tuition online. If you prefer to pay by check, require financial assistance or need to make alternate arrangements for payment, please email the School Director, Hasia Monselise at ujshasiamonselise@gmail.com. Payments must be submitted or alternate arrangments set up prior to the start of the school.

Vaccination policy: The routine vaccination of all students is an important public health matter. Both the Reform and Conservative movements believe that childhood vaccination is a mitzvah, based on the Torah's exhortation to "take utmost care and watch yourselves scrupulously" (Deuteronomy 4:9). The requirement of all students at the United Jewish School is to be adequately immunized against all of the preventable childhood diseases as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices; therefore, it is United Jewish School policy that age-appropriate compliance of vaccination is enforced, and to exclude individuals who are out of compliance. Therefore appropriate documentation of immunization status will be required prior to the start of school. Parents must provide vaccination records or documentation of medical exemptions from the state or their pediatrician prior to the start of school. Your doctor or your local Health Department can print an Official State of Michigan Immunization Record for you. You can also request forms here: https://www.mcir.org/public/. More details about how to acquire documentation can be found here.

We look forward to seeing you and your children at UJS in the fall!
